University of Kentucky men and women rugby teams arrived to Argentina on March 10th. The group enjoyed a customized 10-days-itinerary and visited the cities of Buenos Aires and Mar del Plata. See photos 
Gonzaga College High School to visit Argentina and Uruguay for the third time with ASC.A total of 86 group members will depart non-stop from Washington DC to Buenos Aires on the evening of April 29th. Their first rugby game (A and B sides) is scheduled for Saturday 31st against Centro Naval's U16 and U17. Will the now experienced Gonzaga teams be able to beat their classic host? Rugby games, cultural acitvities, beach time, wine tasting are just a few of the activities included in Gonzaga's customized itinerary.

Joan has been playing rugby for then years now. She began her carries in college at Millersville University in Pennsylvania. Once graduated, she continued playing for Brandywine WRFC in Wenchester, Philadelphia, and since 2004 she's been with the Furies. She also has been selected to play for MARFU's select side in 2005 and 2006, and she participated in the famous Ottawa rugby tournament with the East Coast Harlots team for three consecutive years. We took the overnight plane trip from LA to Buenos Aires, arrived in Buenos Aires, had lunch on the riverfront, then took the ferry across the miles-wide mouth of the River Plate to Montevideo, Uruguay. The hotel there was fabulous. The city was a mixture of old and new; the archway in a couple pictures marked old town Montevideo from the newer parts. Read more
Karden Kelly, Washington Furies' player, writes about their 2006 rugby tour to Argentina.
As the bus carried us back to our hotel in Corrientes, the Furies sang "Delta Dawn," our team song. We had just won our third and final tour match and attended our last and best social in Argentina. In one of the most memorable moments of the tour, we reflected on an incredible experience in a rugby-friendly country that had welcomed us at every stop. Read more
Mount St Mary's University, from Emmitsburg, Maryland, US, completed its first international rugby tour to South America.
I just got back from Argentina, and it was so incredible! Twenty-three guys from our rugby team, including our coach and his grandson, went and all of our experiences were absolutely amazing. We left on March 1 for a ten hour flight to Buenos Aires, Argentina. When we arrived, the scenery was instantly breathtaking. Read more
